Anonymous is a loosely associated international network of activists and hacktivists. They are an internet gathering with a very loose and decentralised command structure that operates on ideas rather than directives. They became known for a series of well-publicized publicity stunts and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on government, religious, and corporate websites.
Anonymous originated in 2003 but have grown increasingly more popular as the years have gone on. Anon’s can be distinguished in public as they will be wearing Guy Fawkes masks.
They believe that if everyone works together a joins as one then we can destroy government and corporal corruption, distribute the wealth fairly and work together as a planet to better our future. Most anon’s think that the government go completely and a new system should be set up. The mask unites everyone together and while wearing the mask you feel free along with the thousand other protesters. You realise that the people could easily overthrow the government, but there aren’t enough people aware at this moment in time. Anonymous have been gaining followers worldwide and are having a Million Masked March on the 5th Nov in 481 cities worldwide.
I would like to focus a lot of my project on this group of people as it is very appealing to me. I can get some good photo results and it fits with my initial ideas.
